Musical Mondays at Wormholt Park!

To encourage an appreciation of live music and so pupils can learn from real musicians, our school has begun to join online music sessions hosted by our local music hub and Musical Mondays! Once a half term, pupils are invited to join a video and this week our year 5 and 6 pupils saw a live performance and Q&A session from a musician called ‘Blank Face’. He performed original songs with his Djembe and guitar (called Charlotte) and then improvised a new song using words provided from schools across London.

Our pupils thought he had a beautiful singing voice and were amazed at his improvisation skills. We’re looking forward to watching more live performances to come too!
