Celebrating Diwali in Year 3!

On Friday Washington and Wellington had a Diwali Day and celebrated all things Diwali! We learnt why Hindus celebrate Diwali and watched a puppet show retelling the story of Diwali. Then we then took part in four different activities including; creating Rangoli patterns; creating puppets from the story of Diwali; creating lanterns and cooking Besan Laddoo an Indian sweet. We learnt a lot and really enjoyed ourselves!
