Getting creative in the Art Studio!

This term, every child in years 1 – 6 has helped create some new collaborative art displays in the Art Studio!

The first is a giant board celebrating having a growth mindset, using a quote from Vincent Van Gogh as a starting point “I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it my whole heart”. They each had to create a small painted heart in the style of a contemporary artist who goes by Etta Vee, and the quote was added on top!

Children in years 1-4 also helped create a giant paint drip mural in the style of a contemporary artist called Jen Stark. They created their own drip pictures either in black and white or in a rainbow order, and it covers an entire wall in the art studio!
