I feel both privileged and honoured to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school. It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our website, and to thank you for taking an interest in our unique school community.
I hope you enjoy looking through the website, which gives you an insight into what we offer our fabulous pupils.
What makes Wormholt Park so unique is our UNICEF Rights Respecting Gold Status. Our Rights Respecting ethos permeates throughout the school: in the playground, the classrooms, the lunch hall and more.
The children and staff care about and take responsibility for themselves, for each other and for their environment. As a result, our school feels like a special place, with a calm and friendly environment. It is where children are happy and demonstrate great enthusiasm towards their learning.
My vision for Wormholt Park is simple. I want all our children to achieve their very best, to be happy and confident and to be respectful of themselves and others… and to always reach for the stars!
Our curriculum has been redesigned to enable all our children to achieve their very best, not just academically but also in terms of developing the life-skills they will need for the future.
As parents and carers, you have a vital part to play in your children’s learning, and we are committed to working in partnership with every family. We firmly believe that children learn best when home and school work together.
If you are considering applying to wonderful Wormholt, please feel free to contact our office and to come for a visit. You will be warmly welcomed, and you will see for yourselves what a special place this really is.
Alternatively, you can watch our school tour video and look through our school prospectus!
I am delighted to be leading our school into the next chapter of its story. I hope you will be here to travel the journey with us all!
