The School Business Manager provides the Resources Committee with regular updates and reports including Budget Monitoring Reports, benchmarking and the Schools Financial Value Standard (SFVS). The Resources Committee reports back to the full Governing Body. This allows all governors the opportunity to support and challenge the school to ensure spending is planned appropriately and the school is achieving value for money. Annually the School Business Manager carries out a benchmarking exercise. This allows governors to see how our spending and income compares to schools nationally that are similar to us. In accordance with DfE requirements the school has to publish the number of employees that earn £100,000 or more in increments of £10,000. Currently no staff earn over £100,000.
