Enrichment

At Wormholt Park Primary School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. While English and Maths provide essential foundations, we are equally committed to providing enriching experiences that develop children’s confidence, curiosity, creativity and character.

Guided by our vision of “Learning today for a better tomorrow,” we want every child to leave our school achieving their very best, feeling happy and confident, respectful of themselves and others, and always reaching for the stars. We achieve this through a broad, engaging curriculum filled with memorable experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning.

As a UNICEF Gold Rights Respecting School, children’s rights, respect for others and belonging are at the heart of everything we do. Through exciting learning opportunities, workshops, visits, performances and community projects, our pupils develop the essential skills they need to succeed both in school and in later life. Alongside academic achievement, we nurture resilience, teamwork, communication, creativity, problem-solving and independence through our Skills Builder programme and our rich curriculum.

We believe that every child deserves opportunities to discover new interests, challenge themselves and develop talents that will help them become active, responsible members of their local, national and global community.
